Booking an Appointment
We're making some changes to improve access for all of our patients. These changes aim to make routine appointments more consistently available, while ensuring patients with urgent medical needs are seen as quickly as possible.
New AccuRx Service

Zero Tolerance Policy
Blackwood Medical Practice has a zero tolerance policy in relation to verbal abuse and employee’s rights to be treated in a fair and respectful manner.
Should your conduct breach this policy, a warning will be issued or you will be asked to register at another GP practice. Physical abuse or threats will result in immediate removal from the Practice.
DNA Policy
Your DNA is another patient's denied appointment
Failure to attend a booked appointmetn, or not cancelling it more than 2 hours in advance, will be recorded as a DNA in your notes and you will receive a text message advising of this. After 3 failed attendances, you will be requested to register at a different GP Surgery.
